Self Consumption in Maintenance Job Card

Introduction

The Self Consumption in Maintenance Job Card report is a query-based report designed to track self-consumed materials in maintenance job cards. This report is particularly useful for supervisors and maintenance staff to monitor material usage, including items billed and not yet billed, within a specified date range.

1. Purpose of the Self Consumption Report

The Self Consumption in Maintenance Job Card report helps to:

  • Monitor materials used in maintenance tasks.

  • Track materials that have been billed and those that are yet to be billed.

  • Provide detailed information about maintenance jobs, such as property, customer, opening and resolution dates, materials used, and associated sales invoices.

2. Key Filters in the Report

This report provides two required filters for specifying the date range:

  • Start Date

  • End Date

These filters allow users to define the date range for which the report will display material consumption details.

3. Report Fields

The report fetches various fields to provide detailed information about each maintenance job card and its associated materials. The fields include:

Maintenance Job Card:

The name of the maintenance job card linked to the Issue doctype.

Property:

The property name associated with the maintenance job.

Customer:

The customer related to the maintenance job.

Opening Date:

The date when the maintenance job card was opened.

Resolution Date:

The date when the maintenance issue was resolved (if applicable).

Modified By:

The user who last modified the job card.

Status:

The status of the maintenance job card (e.g., open, resolved).

Item:

The materials/items used in the maintenance job, linked to the Item doctype.

Quantity:

The quantity of the item consumed in the maintenance job.

UOM:

The unit of measure (UOM) for the item.

Rate:

The rate of the item in the local currency.

Amount:

The total amount for the quantity of the item consumed.

Sales Invoice:

If applicable, the associated sales invoice for the item (if billed).

4. Running the Report

To run the Self Consumption in Maintenance Job Card report:

  • Navigate to the report in the Property Management Solution module.

  • Select the desired date range by setting the Start Date and End Date.

  • Click Run to generate the report and review the material consumption details for the specified period.
