  • This helps property managers maintain consistency when documenting or selecting paints for different parts of a property, such as walls, doors, or other areas.

2. Key Fields and Definitions

The "Paint" document contains the following key fields:

Description:

  • Description: A description of the paint (e.g., "Matte Finish White", "Glossy Blue").

Color Code:

  • Description: The color code of the paint (e.g., HEX code, RGB values, or manufacturer-specific code).

These fields allow for efficient documentation of different paints and ensure that paints are identified and selected accurately based on their description and color code.

3. Document Management

3.1 Creating a New Paint Entry

To create a new paint entry:

  • Navigate to the Paint document in the Property Management Solution module.

Click on the New button. Fill in the following fields:

      * Description: Enter a descriptive name for the paint (e.g., "Matte Black", "Silk White").

      * Color Code: Input the corresponding color code (e.g., "FFFFFF" for white, "000000" for black).
  • Save the document to create the new paint entry in the system.

The Paint DocType is part of the Property Management Solution module and is typically used by property managers, maintenance staff, or system administrators responsible for managing property details. This document is often referenced when selecting or managing paints for property renovations, maintenance, or new constructions.
